​​​Primary Skills Tutoring was created from my passion for helping learners who need extra support to thrive. With over 20 years of teaching experience and specialist training in evidence-based approaches like Orton-Gillingham (supporting students with dyslexia and dysgraphia) and Extending Mathematical Understanding (supporting students with dyscalculia), I use current research and best practice to ensure my students learn and experience success that feels achievable.

I am known form my calm and gentle manner which I use to support children to develop their confidence and skills in their areas of difficulty whether that be reading, spelling, writing or maths. I design structured, achievable lessons that meet students at their point of need and celebrate progress along the way.
